Dimwit,

Thanks for reading and commenting! The whole hate - list idea is good, as I found that some things are hated universally!

Animagi,

Your hate list was written honestly - I specially liked your closing lines:

Phew – writing those things felt like lying on the shrink’s couch and rattling away – some outlet, that!

Thanks for playing :)
Cheers
Dimwit

Blizzard,

Thanks for your comment!

Wiskyd,

I am really honoured to get the compliment that I make people smile, it really means a lot to me coming from you especially, as I find you extremely hilarious (Oh My God, I started sounding like an actress...noooooo....need to see a shrink ) Anyway, I really meant all that I said, though it may have sounded soppy or contrived!

Charuavi,

Yep, Charuavi, soul mates!  And, from the reactions I am getting, we have a lot more soulmates

Narensomu,

Oh no, so you are one of those women who bargain in Ranganathan street? I need to consider changing my Guruji  Yes, I too think people who litter the roads should be punished, not fined like in Singapore, but what about whipping like in the Middle east?

Agree with all points except Ranganathan street.
I dont like the crowd either but I used to brave the crowd just to do some silly shopping.
I once bought dish -scrubbers for ten lifetimes at a very low price there.
Not to speak of silly this and that I 'd never use.
The people who throw litter on the road irritate me and I wish they could be fined.
The traffic in Chennai is heterogenous-fish carst compete with trucks and what not!
Written well as usual.you manage to keep it crisp.Thats good!
Regards

Dear animagi,

Those are the same five things I too hate. What a coincidence ! We must be soulmates.

Enjoyed reading your pet peeves

  animagi posted 12 mnths ago

Melody,

Thanks for reading and commenting! Don't even remind me of Saravana stores, I avoid it (and Ranganathan street of course!) like the plague! God only knows how people actually get the mood to shop in such crowded places

  animagi posted 12 mnths ago

Shamoli,

Yep, I guess all those things will match with most people's pet peeves! Some things just won't change, even if everyone hates them!

You are right. Nobody is pointing a gun at us forcing us to blog. We are here out of our own choice. I still have a couple of peevs about Sulekha though...
Your point # 3 is on my list too.
The Indian crowd would drive anybody nuts. Once we had to been Saravana stores. All we had to do was merely stand at the entrance and we were automatically swept inside by the thronging crowd.
Laughter is a gift given only to man, but we aren't used to appreciating our gifts. We only know to crib about stuff we don't have.
Indian roads- the less said the better.

Regards
Melody
